Development cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina
All the programs by Society UP involved in protection of orphans in Bosnia and Herzegovina are intended to improve the standards of care, education and upbringing of children in the orphanage.
Children from former war zones of Bosnia and Herzegovina had to trade there childhood for suffering, fear and deprivation. We would like to give an opportunity to those who lost there parents over a terrible war, who live in unadjusted family circumstances or lack the material things and other instabilities, to live a carefree childhood.
Helping orphans in Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of Society UP main programs, as from the very beginning of our establishment we have actively been involved in defending their well-being.
We cooperate with:
- Children’s orphanage, Bjelave (Sarajevo)
- Elementary school Al-Wallidein – Gazzaz, Mojmilo (Sarajevo)
- Children’s home MOST (Zenica)
- Elementary school Stranjani (Zenica)
