Revealed hands 2 (2013-2014)

The collection of Revealed hands products is created by a group of cunning and hardworking hands of immigrant women from the republics of the former Yugoslavia, living in Jesenice in Slovenia. Women were brought to Slovenia due to various life stories, coincidences and the situation in their country. They are joined by a desire for textile handicraft, financial independence and socializing outside the family.

The main objectives of the project are to create intercultural connections, to educate by the textile manual work, socialization of vulnerable groups, designing of selling textile products collection and generating a textile group of women, operating in the Jesenice area, which will generate textile products, due to obtained knowledge, and teach young people in the field of textile manual work. The project was realized with the support of the European Union and was partly financed by the European Social Fund.
